Board recognizes staff and students for school achievements and community PSA
Summary
Trustees recognized Mitchell Community School staff and Sulphur Springs Community School students for achievements, presented certificates and a plaque for contributions to the Many Families, One Community Family Resource Fair and its public-service announcement.
During the March 25 meeting the Board acknowledged student and staff accomplishments at Mitchell Community School and presented certificates to certificated employees Bree Padilla, Sandra Johnson, and Cathy Bluem and classified employees Rebecca Huckeba and Shelley Spray. Principal Gretchen Lupica was recognized for leadership.
The Board also recognized students who created the Public Service Announcement for the Many Families, One Community Family Resource Fair and presented a plaque to teacher Ken Newton for his leadership on the event. Trustees described the fair as a growing community partnership that supports families across early childhood to college pathways.
