AIPAC co‑chairs ask Osseo board to sustain work after concurrence vote on American Indian education

Ethan Neerdaels, the district's Coordinator of Indian Education, introduced American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) co‑chairs Jeremy and Katy King to the board. Co‑chair Jeremy King reported that AIPAC approved a 2025–26 Vote of Concurrence per Minnesota Statute 124D.78 and asked the board to continue dedicating work, resources and time to identify and act on areas requiring focused investment for American Indian students and families.
King noted that the vote of concurrence does not mean the work is complete and urged the district to sustain follow‑through. The minutes record the committee's role in aligning district practice with the American Indian Education Aid Program Plan submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education.
