KCSD board approves Southern Oregon ESD local service plan for 2025-26

The Klamath County School District Board of Directors approved the Southern Oregon Educational Service District (SOESD) Local Service Plan for 2025-26 during its Feb. 20 meeting.
"I move we approve the Southern Oregon Educational Service District (SOESD) Local Service Plan as presented," said Jill O'Donnell, who made the motion. Marc Staunton seconded the motion and the board voted 5-0 to pass it. Superintendent Glen Szymoniak and cabinet had reviewed the plan earlier in the meeting and recommended approval. Executive Assistant Stephanie Bland was directed to submit the district's ballot to SOESD the following day.
The approval places KCSD on record as supporting the services and allocations described in the SOESD plan included in the board packet. Staff indicated additional detail is attached to the packet for public review. No public comment was received on the item during the meeting.
