Officials, transportation partners and business leaders lead Cedar Grove Bridge ribbon cutting

DeKalb County commissioners, state representatives and Metro South CID leaders gathered at the Cedar Grove Bridge ribbon cutting on Aug. 6. The CEO asked elected officials and partners to stand early in the program and later called forward representatives including Commissioner Robert Patrick, Commissioner Ladina Bolton's chief of staff, Commissioner Ted Terry, Commissioner Nicole Messiah, former commissioner Larry Johnson (now elected to the state senate), and Stonecrest city officials.
Kathy Warren, the event staff member leading the ribbon-cutting logistics, asked speakers and program participants to move to the bridge for the ceremonial lineup and coordinated the signal for the cut. She named a set of participants to cross the bridge, including DeKalb County commissioners, Metro South CID leaders, C.W. Matthews, Michael Baker International and Norfolk Southern Railway representatives, then led the count-in to the ribbon cut.
