Superintendent Aaron Duff told the board the district's current enrollment is 1,558 students and summarized facilities preparations for winter, including having ice melt ready. He said the FFA barn received two qualified bids and that the district's selected bid will be brought to the December meeting for board approval. The district and Pioneer People also helped update signs at the Watertower.
Duff announced that each school will offer a Thanksgiving holiday lunch to staff and students on Wednesday, Nov. 20, and invited board members to help serve. He also proposed moving the February board meeting so staff could attend a state meeting; the board approved moving the February meeting to Feb. 3, 2025 and cancelling the Jan. 13, 2025 meeting. Don Miller requested a follow-up on the high school's current 'F' policy.
