Superintendent Bret Champion informed the Board that the district does not maintain a single document detailing grievances and the proposed financial remedy and that producing such a report would require substantial staff work. Champion noted Board policy BBAA requires Board approval for generating reports that impose additional expense on the district.
Assistant Superintendent Brad Earl provided a staff-level estimate: "He estimated it would take staff roughly 420 hours to gather the information at an approximate cost of $21,000." The Board did not move forward with a motion to request the report at the Nov. 21 meeting.
