Aug. 10 study session to review draft 2027 budget, South Platte Renew and seek strategic plan feedback

City Manager Sean Lewis told meeting participants the Aug. 10 study session will focus on several major items including the draft proposed 2027 budget, a South Platte Renew governance discussion, and an AmeriCorps fellowship update, and will include a study session to gather council feedback on the city's strategic plan.
Mayor Pro Tem Tim Joe Anderson proposed a time allocation for the strategic plan discussion, saying, "Maybe 30 minutes." Council and staff agreed that the timeframe was reasonable and planned to structure the Aug. 10 agenda accordingly. Staff will return with slides and materials for each item in advance of the study session.
