Chair Cynthia Wright read two separate complaints against Board Director Michael Williams into the meeting record. Board Director Suzanne Messer and Board Director Jeff Kinsella each read statements summarizing events referenced in the complaints; the transcript records that Messer "recapped the event on October 15, 2024 referenced in both complaints." Attorney Thad Pauck advised the Board that Director Williams should be given an opportunity to make a statement on his behalf before any findings are made.
After discussion, Board Director Kendell Ferguson moved and Suzanne Messer seconded a motion to postpone further discussion and deliberations on the complaints until Director Williams can respond at a future Board meeting. The motion passed by roll call with six yeas and one absence (Williams absent).
