At the Oct. 2 work session, the board reviewed committee reports and progress on a District organizational-chart update and discussed alignment of new positions with an upcoming superintendent posting. Principal Blanchard was asked to recommend additions to the student support team to serve increased enrollment. The Board also agreed to draft facilities reservation procedures for first reading on Oct. 8 and to develop protocols governing off-campus CTE work sites and student volunteer endeavors that may provide benefits to private parties.
Committees reported on grants and fundraising: a solar grant is on hold, an MDE technology grant was submitted, and the Tech Committee will pilot a proposed shared leadership model under the updated organizational chart. The Board signaled intent to formalize facility reservation procedures and CTE site protocols at a future work session or through an ad-hoc committee.
