He reported ongoing road maintenance agreements tied to Rock Creek Solar and Hawkeye Solar projects, pavement-preservation work and bridge projects, and said the county received about $3.8 million in federal bridge funding for a Highway 30 overflow bridge replacement. Kinney flagged staffing challenges within the Secondary Roads Department as a continuing operational constraint.
