Wrenshall board work session reviews draft organizational chart and operations roles

At its Oct. 2 work session the Wrenshall Board reviewed a draft district organizational chart listing operational roles such as Superintendent, Principal, Business Manager, facilities and transportation coordinators; directors present noted the items will return to the Oct. 8 regular meeting.
Director Eric Ankrum and three other directors met in a Wrenshall Board of Education work session on Oct. 2, 2024 to review a draft district organizational chart and related operational roles. Present were Directors Eric Ankrum, Mary Carlson, Ben Johnson and Nicole Krisak; Directors Misty Bergman and Alice Kloepfer were absent with notice.
The board examined a list of positions and functional labels for the chart, including Superintendent, Principal, Instructional staff PK–12, Business Manager, Facilities Manager, Lead Custodian, Transportation roles (MARSS Coordinator, Lead Bus Driver), Community Education staff and coordinators, Student Management/Advisor roles, counselor and nurse, and Communications Coordinator. The materials shown in the work session used the heading 'Wrenshall School District Organizational Chart' and enumerated these operational nodes for later placement in the district structure. Board members indicated the chart and related job functions will be refined ahead of the Oct. 8 regular meeting for possible formal consideration.
