Board approves clerical contract and notes committee appointments for 2025

At the organizational meeting the board approved a clerical employees contract settlement. The motion to approve the clerical contract was presented by Kristi Peterson and seconded by Joe Aldrich; the minutes record the approval.
The minutes also list committee appointments to be finalized for approval at the Jan. 27, 2025 board meeting. Committees noted include Finance & Facilities, Community Engagement, Personnel, Policy, and several district advisory and regional groups (Academies of Shakopee Steering Committee, AMSD Board of Directors, District Advisory Council, Community Education Advisory Council, Southwest Metro, MSHSL, ECFE Advisory Council, MSBA, Shakopee Diversity Alliance, Brightworks and ad hoc committees). A community member (Sandy Boyce) was listed as the district’s CEU Committee community representative.
The meeting minutes note an informational item on Crisis & Safety Planning and list the MSBA Annual Conference on the upcoming-dates section. The meeting adjourned at 6:13 p.m.
