The mayor thanked the Bloomington Police Department, Bloomington Fire Department and the Bloomington Crime Prevention Association for their roles supporting community safety and partnerships, and invited residents to neighborhood gatherings scheduled citywide.
The mayor also noted the event's role in building police‑community partnerships and strengthening neighborhood camaraderie.
