Several commissioners supported the analysis, citing developers' feedback that the masonry requirement can be costly and potentially discourage investment; Commissioner Delgado said he has met with multiple developers who raised the issue and moved to approve directing the zoning commission to study the code. The motion passed by voice vote, and staff will prepare information for the zoning commission's public hearing and recommendation.
