During the second-reading portion of the meeting the board reviewed and adopted a package of policies covering personnel leave, student admission and instructional matters. The list included GCBDA/GDBDA (Family Leave), GCBDC/GDBDC (Domestic Violence), GCBDF/GDBDF (Paid Family Medical Leave Insurance), IIA (Instructional Materials), IKJ (Artificial Intelligence), JECA (Admission of Resident Students) and JHCD (Medications). Carol Hacherl moved and Angel Ashdown seconded adoption; the motion passed unanimously.
Board members noted that some earlier policy drafts had undiscovered changes from the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) and adjusted the agenda so that only JFE remained on first reading that night. The minutes record adoption but do not include the full text changes; the board relied on OSBA revisions and staff presentations for specifics.
