District moves to add card payments and nutrition software; tech staff confirm cybersecurity work

Raymond said technology staff are working with the Educational Service District (ESD) and the PACE consortium to ensure district cybersecurity practices are up to date. The minutes note that the district currently accepts only cash or checks for miscellaneous purchases and that the new card readers would change that practice. No procurement decision or vendor was recorded at the meeting; staff reported planning work and integration steps.
