A committee member raised unfinished business about the county historian position and the disposition of historical items, asking, “Where are we with the our own county historian? I said I'd keep putting that on unfinished business so that we could keep thinking about that in terms of getting rid of some of the extra stuff.”
Members said the county attorney was expected to review options for returning items to towns versus transferring them to nonmunicipal groups, and staff indicated they were close to a resolution.
