County administrator Kristin Knapp told the Resource Management Committee she had “an MOE before you for a contract with Allegany County Historical Society” and said the organization had submitted an annual request for $10,000 to support museum and research activities. Knapp said she had discussed the request with committee members earlier in the summer and presented the item for formal approval.
A committee member moved to approve the contract and another member seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote. The committee recorded the action as an approval to grant the Allegany County Historical Society $10,000 to use toward its museum and research activities.
