The North Wasco County School District 21 board voted unanimously on May 22 to adopt revisions to the 2025–26 school calendar and to move the June board retreat to August because of election results and changes in board seats.
Director John Nelson moved to approve the calendar revisions; Director Jose Aparicio seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Board members discussed the retreat date change as an administrative adjustment to ensure full participation following election-related transitions.
The calendar adoption was procedural and did not alter instructional days or the listed graduation and promotion events described elsewhere on the agenda. The board will publish the revised calendar to parents and staff following the meeting.
