The Port Orford-Langlois School District 2CJ Board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the May 18 regular meeting, confirming several personnel actions and minutes from April meetings.
On a motion by board member Angel Ashdown, seconded by Carol Hacherl, the board approved acceptance of Michele Leonard's resignation from an instructional aide position and the hires of Nicole Kraynik as a fifth-grade teacher, Julian Carter as a PE teacher at Driftwood School (DWS), and Kari Senn as a district office administrative assistant. The board also approved the interim appointment of Bonita Stout as Pacific High School interim principal for the 2026–27 school year. Korinn Hockett, Carol Hacherl, Judy Miles, Angel Ashdown and Bob Brown voted in favor; the motion passed unanimously.
The board approved minutes from the April 20 regular meeting and the April 20 budget committee meeting as part of the same consent action. The meeting minutes and personnel listings are recorded in the official May 18 packet.
