Green introduced himself at the dais and described his background in facilities maintenance and construction, including experience with Amarillo Independent School District and two years as facilities and construction director at West Texas A&M University. "This is an exciting opportunity for me," Green said, adding that he looks forward to working with county staff.
Judge Parish moved to appoint Green and a commissioner seconded; the court approved the appointment unanimously. The appointment effective date was recorded in the public motion.
