Concerns about space, lines and volunteer capacity led members to favor a smaller-board approach that could be staged on tables and displayed afterward. "I'll move to do $60," the chair said when offering a motion to fund materials; the motion was seconded and the commission voted in favor.
Members also discussed practical logistics: limiting the number of participants at a time, breaking a large board into smaller panels for transport and storage, and using volunteers to monitor the activity. Staff agreed to create a sign-up for volunteers and coordinate a materials list for the event. The commission asked that the proposed activity be included in the event plan and that any additional funding needs be brought back for approval.
