Directors asked follow‑up questions about the number of anticipated students, whether check‑ins would be weekly or daily, current data on when homeschool students typically enter public school and their academic placement, and researching existing models before implementation.
Grazioli noted students in the pilot would be district‑enrolled and would receive district learning supports; a site for co‑location was not decided. Board members requested more data on projected enrollment, models from other districts and operational details before any formal approval. No motion to adopt the pilot was made at the Dec. 19 meeting; the proposal remained under consideration pending additional research and a future agenda item.
