CTUIR Board of Trustees member Steven Hart welcomed attendees and thanked parents for their support as the board recognized Native American students from multiple district schools for Native American Heritage Month.
Nixyaawii Community School Principal Ryan Heinrich summarized the school’s mission, staff priorities for 2024–25, graduation and enrollment figures, cultural activities and community outreach. Heinrich also reviewed extended summer-learning opportunities and college and career readiness work, and closed by listing November drumming and dancing performance dates and locations at local schools.
