Court signs off on joint primary resolution and election contract for March 3, 2026

Roxanne Stinson of the county elections office briefed the court on the upcoming March 3, 2026 joint primaries and requested approval of the joint resolution and required statistical information.
Stinson told the court the resolution and the election contract needed to be approved for filing with the Secretary of State; the court approved both items without further amendment. "I just need your approval because we'll be holding joint primaries," Stinson said. The contract and resolution were approved by motion and will be executed to meet filing requirements.
