Rowe Middle School staff presented academic and program updates to the board on Dec. 12. Assistant Superintendent Ivonne Dibblee introduced Principal Emily Moore, Assistant Principal Harold Acevedo and Instructional Coach Jennifer Martin, who reported measurable academic growth in reading and math, improved attendance, and the opening of a Dual Language Immersion program at the school.
The board asked questions about the presentation, and staff addressed board comments. Additionally, the North Clackamas Education Association representative Michelle Arko recognized Shannon Landstrom, a teacher at Alder Creek Middle School, as the NCEA Featured Educator for December.
