The Lubbock County Tax Office requested authorization for dealer-deputy agreements that allow automobile dealers to print county vehicle registration stickers for customers. Program coordinator Billie Jean Flores presented items 17–20 and explained that these agreements allow dealers to serve as authorized deputies to print stickers, noting the program already includes dealers that carry Mercedes-Benz and other makes.
The court approved four separate dealer-deputy agreements for Audi of Lubbock, BMW of Lubbock, Cavender Cadillac and Cavender Lexus. Flores introduced herself on the record: “I am Billie Jean Flores. I’m program coordinator for the Lubbock County Tax Office.” The agreements were approved by motion and will be processed through the tax office and posted per county procedures.
