Tom Andrews, the district’s director of finance, told the board the FY2025 audit returned an Unmodified ("clean") opinion and that auditors found no internal control deficiencies.
He also reported enrollment changes since Feb. 1, 2026 — three students left Silverton High School while four joined the hybrid program — and summarized the February/March state revenue forecast, saying net state general fund revenues "are up more than 286 million than the December forecast." Andrews cautioned that the HR1 bill could bring significant cuts to Medicaid and SNAP and that those impacts remain unclear.
The finance presentation and supporting slides were uploaded to BoardBook, according to the minutes.
