Beth Maduki, the city Clerk/Treasurer, presented the 2024 TIF (tax-increment financing) management and redevelopment report prepared by Baker Tilly and noted the report must be uploaded to the Department of Local Government Finance gateway by April 15. She said the report includes parcel lists for each TIF area, revenue and expenditure tables, and a pie chart summarizing revenue and spending on page 3.
"This is a report that we have to send, by April 15 to the DLGF via gateway and upload it," the clerk said. She explained one section lists all parcels in each TIF area, which the council typically receives once a year from the county. After a brief exchange, a council member moved to accept the report, the motion was seconded, and council voted to accept it.
The clerk said the format differed from prior years but contained the same core information; the report will be filed to meet the statutory deadline and recorded in council records.
