On April 21, 2026, the Seaside School District 10 Budget Committee unanimously elected Jason Haag as Budget Committee Chair and Coral Sadler as Vice-Chair.
Coral Sadler moved to nominate Jason Haag for Budget Committee Chair; Nancy McCune seconded the nomination. "There were no further nominations and a vote was called. The motion passed unanimously," after which Jason Haag took his place at the head of the table. Later, Jason Haag called for nominations for vice-chair; Shannon Swedenborg moved, seconded by Sondra Gomez, to nominate Coral Sadler for the post and the motion again passed unanimously.
The nominations were procedural and uncontested; the committee recorded full attendance for the vote with one member absent. The newly elected officers will preside over upcoming budget hearings as the committee reviews the 2026–2027 proposed budget.
