SBISD hears bond counsel and financial-advisor briefings on facilities planning

At the Oct. 7 workshop the Board heard a sequence of presentations on future facilities planning. Financial and advisory perspectives were given by Terrell Palmer of Post Oak Municipal Advisors, LLC and Drew Masterson of Masterson Advisors, LLC; bond counsel Tom Sage of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP also spoke about legal considerations for financing and planning.
District operations and design staff, including Associate Superintendent for Operations Travis Stanford and Brandon Ross of PBK Architects, provided an update on the facilities assessment process. The workshop record shows discussion and continued planning; no bond measure or financing decision was made at the meeting.
