Board approves consent agenda, policy revisions, financial reports and personnel moves

The board unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included December 8, 2025 and January 7, 2026 meeting minutes, the January 2026 claims and financial reports, and second and final reading approval of the revised 3000 section of board policies and revised Board Policy 5204 on student graduation. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by John Icenogle and seconded by Amanda Smallcomb and passed 6–0.
Under regular personnel business the board accepted resignations with regret and approved the employment of certificated staff for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 school years; both motions passed unanimously. The board also approved check-signing authority for 2026 naming the board president and secretary and designating Meagan Kershner and Jenae Dahlstedt as signatories at Nebraskaland Bank.
