Board votes to approve SIA grant agreement for biennium

The Silver Falls School District Board approved the SIA (Student Investment Account) agreement for the biennium as presented. Tom told the board the agreement had been reviewed on Nov. 24 and that a newer ODE requirement now requires a board vote to be reflected in meeting minutes and uploaded to ODE.
A motion to approve the SIA agreement was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote. Tom said staff will upload the approved agreement and close the procedural loop; one board member noted a link issue for one integrated planning document that staff will correct for the public packet.
Board members had no substantive objections and the motion passed. Staff indicated there were no material changes from the prior review and will complete the required submittal to ODE.
