Board members praised the concept but repeatedly flagged the board's limited discretionary funds and asked for a prioritization process and financial forecast before making a commitment. One board member said the current forecast shows about $170,000 of residual funds available for additional projects; others urged the Chamber to seek partners and return with a specific ask.
The URA did not make a funding decision at this meeting but agreed to include the item in its prioritization work and asked staff to provide budget projections and timing for a future discussion.
