Electra also reported the project received a 9% LIHTC award and has conditional Department of Housing and El Paso County HTF commitments.
Board members discussed the planning timetable and process. Alan Delwich (who sits on the planning commission) estimated the planning department review could take "30 to 60 days" and that the major development route would include hearings at planning and city council, making the full approval sequence likely several months. Members also discussed community meetings and the need to follow the city’s notice and replat processes.
No formal vote was taken; Electra said she will distribute the submitted documents to the board and members asked staff to track planning milestones and public‑meeting opportunities.
