Callahan told the board the plan ties directly to Oregon Department of Education evaluation criteria, including High School Perkins eligibility, State CTE Perkins performance targets, federal School Improvement accountability data, and Longitudinal Performance Growth Targets. The board moved to approve the plan; Director Ronald “Jess” Hardin moved and Director Claudia Andrews seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Board members asked questions about implementation steps and metrics; Callahan summarized next steps for monitoring progress and responding to ODE review. The board recorded no public testimony specifically on the plan during the public-input period. The plan approval authorizes staff to proceed with the sustained investments and changes described in the plan and to return future progress reports to the board.
