During the July 2 special work session, Chair Kris Howatt reviewed the board's list of requested future agenda items and noted that some items have been assigned to the upcoming summer retreat. Superintendent Dr. Tracy Klinger said the district should proactively work on an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) for School Resource Officers (SROs) and also discuss adopting weighted grade point averages for classes.
Board members and staff agreed to ensure new board members have access to the board requests spreadsheet so they can track assigned items and materials. The items identified for the retreat and follow-up will be scheduled and staffed for future meetings as needed.
