The minutes recorded a coordination issue: at the April 4 hard-plastics collection, DPW was reportedly unaware the collection would occur that day. Members recommended that future advertising explicitly list both the paper-shredding and hard-plastics collections and that DPW be notified in advance, particularly for the October 24, 2026 combined collection day.
SRP also agreed to clarify language around its September 19 Swap & Shop so the community understands 'Shop' means free items; schools will be notified to help families in need access donations during setup.
