Zillah Council approves several service agreements including probation, inspections, court interpreter services and security
Summary
Council unanimously approved resolutions to contract for Yakima County probation services, Northwest Code Professionals building inspection support, AOC court interpreter reimbursement, and PPC Solutions security services for municipal court during the Dec. 16 meeting.
The council approved a set of resolutions authorizing interlocal and service contracts. Resolution No. 2024-54 authorized an agreement with Yakima County for probation services. Resolution No. 2024-55 approved a contract with Northwest Code Professionals to carry out building inspection duties. Resolution No. 2024-57 authorized an interagency agreement with the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to reimburse interpreter and language access services in city court. Resolution No. 2024-59 renewed security services for Zillah Municipal Court with PPC Solutions, Inc. All motions passed unanimously.
City staff presented each item as routine service renewals or support contracts tied to operational needs; council voted to approve them collectively during the meeting's New Business consent of resolutions stage.
