District applies for LASO Cycle 3 grant for Bluebonnet instructional materials; decision expected mid-February

Janell Martin told trustees the district submitted a LASO Cycle 3 grant application to continue implementation of Bluebonnet instructional materials (formerly called Amplify, Eureka and Carnegie). Martin described the application as a continuation of the district’s current instructional foundation.
Martin said the district should know whether it has been awarded LASO Cycle 3 funding by mid-February. No board action was taken at the Dec. 16 meeting; the item was presented for information and monitoring.
