Joel Elkins told commissioners crews are repairing road damage from recent rain and will inspect where water went over the road to identify repairs.
"They are fixing road damage and will be going to check to see where the water went over the road from this current rain today," Elkins said. Resident Shawn Frost also asked that the county patch a stretch of 40 Road north of S Road that leads to the Esbon City well; commissioners directed Joel Elkins to inspect the site.
Ambulance Director Vincent Urbaniak reported flooding in the ambulance office and said he would talk to the road superintendent about digging a ditch on the east side of the building to funnel water away. Commissioners did not authorize construction work during the meeting; they recorded the requests for follow-up and site inspection.
