The Jewell County Commissioners on July 7 approved a quarterly write-off of $17,865.47 for July 2025. Commissioner Ervin Underwood moved to approve the write-off and Commissioner Brent Beck seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Vincent Urbaniak presented an ambulance driver policy for signature so he could turn it into the Board of EMS; Commissioner Ed Duskie signed the policy. Urbaniak also reported “25 total calls with 5 transfers” during the reporting period and said the ambulance crew will staff standbys for the Jewell County Fair rodeo and the Threshing Bee.
