The Tulia Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Feb. 11 to approve a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of $3,060,000 in Maintenance Tax Notes, Taxable Series 2025.
Jason Hughes of Hilltop Securities addressed the board and answered questions about the note sale process before the board voted. The motion to approve the note resolution was made by Nicole Gore and seconded by Jason Jack; all six board members present voted in favor. William Fifer was absent.
The resolution authorizes the district to issue the taxable maintenance tax notes in the principal amount of $3,060,000 as presented. No public comments were received at the called meeting. The board set its next regular meeting for Feb. 24, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
