Joel Elkins presented the Road and Bridge 2026 budget to the commissioners and identified several maintenance priorities. Elkins told the board that "the Randall Road has been graded, and they will be laying gravel this week," and he noted tubes on county roads that need replacing.
Commissioners also reported receiving a call from Dwight Frost about potholes on 50 Road; Commissioner Brent Beck asked staff to inspect a tree near the Mizner farmhouse on 50 Road that needs to be cut. The board directed staff to investigate cost estimates for additional repairs and materials, including the potential cost of moving rock between pits as discussed earlier in the meeting.
