The Tom Bean Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a special meeting Dec. 16, 2024, called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Steve Rogers. The board entered executive session at 7:07 p.m. pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.074 to discuss employment of individual employees and reconvened in open session at 7:25 p.m.
After reconvening the board approved two personnel actions (hiring Emily Edmonds as a probationary teacher for the remainder of 2024–25 and hiring Charles Nash as high school principal on a probationary administrator contract covering remainder of 2024–25 and through 2025–26 and 2026–27). The board set the next regular meeting for Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, and scheduled a board workshop/training for Jan. 22, 2025. The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
