Commissioner William G. Gerken reminded residents that the Memorial Day Service will be held Monday, May 25 at 11 a.m. at the Euclid Avenue Monument. The announcement was part of the commissioners' reports near the start of the May 12 meeting.
Commissioner Portorreal said the municipal pool will host an open house tomorrow from 6–8 p.m., with Summer Recreation conducting registration, and Mayor MacNeill announced a Village Dental ribbon-cutting on May 30 from noon–4 p.m., noting he cannot attend and that Commissioner Anlian will attend on his behalf.
