Noxious weed director outlines spray program; emergency director reports regional inspection

He and Gagne will attend a summer conference in Newton to earn continuing-education certification hours.
On emergency preparedness, Peroutek said he attended a homeland security meeting last week and that the group visited a log jam in Salina to assess the situation. Those regional coordination activities are part of ongoing preparedness monitoring; commissioners were informed and no board direction was recorded at this meeting.
