South River council accepts administrator's resignation and approves laborer termination

The Borough Council accepted Arthur Londensky's resignation from all positions he held (part-time Borough Administrator, Construction Official, Fire Subcode Official, Zoning Officer) effective Feb. 9, 2026 (Resolution 2026-93). The resolution states the resignation is accepted effective immediately and takes effect upon final passage.
After executive session, the council also authorized termination for cause of Charlie Heiser, a laborer in the Road Department, based on findings from a pre-disciplinary hearing conducted by Interim Borough Administrator Mark Tinitigan. The termination resolution (2026-94) directs written notice, final compensation calculations, return of borough property and placement of documentation in the employee's personnel file; council recorded the vote and procedural steps to effectuate termination.
