At its Jan. 27 meeting the Borough Council moved and approved a multi-item consent agenda covering routine and time-sensitive matters.
Resolutions on the consent agenda included: Resolution No. 41 (waiving permit application fees related to renovations for Highland Chemical Engine Company); Resolution No. 42 (appointing Kevin Austin as a deputy of the Borough Office of Emergency Management); Resolution No. 43 (adopting an emergency temporary budget); Resolution No. 44 (authorizing the 2025 Local Recreation Improvement Grant application); and Resolution No. 45 (authorizing a closed meeting on contract negotiations). The consent agenda was adopted by roll call with all members recorded as Yes.
Council also approved payment of bills presented by Councilman Mazzola. No separate discussion was recorded on these consent items during the meeting; several items (grant application and budget) may require subsequent administrative follow-up for implementation.
