During the Feb. 10 meeting, Superintendent Kelly Moore informed the board that the elementary campus will implement Bluebonnet Learning for reading/ELA in the next school year. Moore also listed professional-development opportunities and schedule items: Region 7 Board Summit (July 18–19), SLI (June 18–21 in Fort Worth), TREA (June 22–25 in Round Rock), and a team training scheduled for Feb. 26 with Dennis Glenn from Region 7 ESC. An Educational Foundation Steering Committee meeting was scheduled for Feb. 18.
Moore provided the district enrollment report listed in the minutes: total enrollment 706, with 228 at the high school, 111 at junior high and 367 at the elementary campus. These items were presented as informational reports; no formal board action was recorded on the Bluebonnet curriculum note or the training schedule in the minutes.
